Silvestro’s opened its doors in 2014 with the goal in mind to change the industry standard.
Modernizing the industry, while still keeping the vintage skill set, was an important factor when deciding on the vibe of the shop.

When you step through our doors, you are taken back to the vintage era with authentic, refurbished furniture, that includes our signature 1959 Cadillac couch, 1930s motorized barber pole, and of course our retro red 1960s barber chairs.

Our services range from modern bald fades to classic comb-overs, flattops and everything in between.
At Silvestro's you can always expect your chosen style to be polished off with a selection of specialty men’s grooming products, as well as a straight razor neck shave. When it comes to the 'old school' shave, we keep the tradition of hot lather, straight razor and hot towels, but we've modernized our service by incorporating a warm steam to aid in the process.

Richard Silvestro
Owner –Master Barber
Richard has been in the hair industry for 15 years and a shop owner for two and a half. He is a graduate of the New England Hair Academy in Malden, MA, along with having an array of continuing education certifications and being an advisory board member of Cosmetology for the Medford Vocational School. Richard also began his own “barber inspired” clothing company, Classic Barber Threads (CBT Clothing), back in 2012 and promoted his line all over the country during industry trade shows. This sparked a passion for attending and participating in competitions during these conventions to test his extensive skill set. He has won first place in the following categories: fastest fade, and best comb over. Richard prides himself on providing quality customer service and an enjoyable shop experience. His broad expertise allows him to provide customers with services that best suit their style.
Chris Donnelly
Master Barber
Chris has been a barber for 8 years and is a graduate from New England Hair Academy. He also has his Associates Degree from Middlesex Community College in Criminal Justice. Chris is proud to have been with Silvestro’s Barber Shop since it’s opening in May 2014. Meeting new people and performing hot towel shaves are two of his favorite things when in the shop. Chris is a great conversationalist, especially when it comes to sports, and his customers always leave feeling good and looking even better.
Kevin Silva
Master Barber
Kevin has been a barber for 8 years and is a graduate from New England Hair Academy. Before Kevin’s time as a barber himself, he was a regular client of Richards, and shortly after he began his career at Silvestros knowing it was a place that took pride in quality service. Although soft-spoken he spends extra time on attention to detail. Kevin’s skills are well rounded from fades to flattops, including styling and design work. In his spare time he enjoys beat boxing and breakdancing.
Armen Mujukian
Master Barber
Armen has his degree from UMASS Boston in History and Political Science. He decided to pursue his passion for barbering and attended then graduated from New England Hair Academy in mid 2016. Armen is enthusiastic in perfecting his skills and enjoys football and basketball in his spare time.
Kirby Bryce
Master Barber
Kirby achieved a bachelors degree from Curry College in communication when he graduated in 2019. Shortly after he decided to attended New England Hair Academy in 2020, finishing in 2021. Kirby is always looking for new ways to do things differently while perfecting his craft. Outside the shop he enjoys making music, watching movies and playing basketball.
